Course Title:        Accounting
The aim of this course is to acquaint the students with reporting end analyzing functions of accounting. Emphasis is to educate students so that they are in a position to interpret and use accounting information intelligently and effectively.

Course Title:        Economics
This is an introductory level course designed to provide students with a working understanding of the economy. The course consists of two interrelated halves, Micro and Macro Economics. Microeconomics, will provide the students with a sound understanding of the tools of demand and supply, and expose them to a wide variety of applications of the demand and supply framework. It is expected that course will enable students to analyze economic policies and their effect on the economic environment. The second part of the course deals with Macroeconomics. The principal objective of this part is to enhance understanding and analysis of macroeconomic policies and their impact, on the business environment. Considerable emphasis is placed on studying the mechanics of the growth process in order to understand long-term economics trends.

The course deals with the basic principles and methodologies of Management. It demonstrates the application of these principles to various industrial sectors such as manufacturing. The specific objectives of the course are towards enhancing the understanding of students in such functions of Management as organizing, planning, leading, and controlling: as well as understanding Management in the global context. At the conclusion of the course, students will have a good grounding in contemporary issues of Management including the basic elements of planning and decision-making; the organizational process; motivation of employees; leadership; managing teams and groups; managing quality and the management of information systems.

This course is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of contemporary marketing through the discussion of theoretical and practical aspects of modern marketing management and the application of marketing principles to your own marketing plan. of marketing, such as: key concepts of marketing and its historical evolution: its role in society and organization in ever changing environment; the marketing mix concepts and its tools; the basic aspects of consumer behavior; and as introduction to marketing strategy.

The course provides students with an understanding of the communication process and the principles underlying effective written, oral and non-verbal communications. Special attention is directed to ensure that students demonstrate practical skills in written and oral communications, besides acquiring theoretical knowledge in this fields.
